The creator of this website is named José Noguera, and as you might have guessed, he is a fan of espresso.
His journey into the world of coffee began late, and similar to many others, learning and improved as his demands grew. His first coffee maker was a capsule one, but he quickly moved on to a portafilter coffee maker. Later, he discovered the importance of grinding beans instantly thanks to his first super-automatic coffee maker.
The wave of specialty coffee hit him hard, and he learned to enjoy espresso without having to add sugar. The excellent espressos and cappuccinos he tasted in specialty coffee shops made him wonder what the keys to a good espresso were, reading coffee blogs and forums, watching videos of famous baristas on YouTube, and gradually delving into that rabbit hole that honors the name of this website.
The definitive quality leap came after returning from a trip to Mexico, where the coffee from Chiapas completely won him over. He acquired his first barista coffee maker, the Sage Barista Express, and, since then, has prepared espresso daily in a ritual that has become one of the best moments of his day-to-day life.
